About Us

Deli Llama is a mindful shop and cafe.

Based at 16a Pelham Road, Carrington, Nottingham. NG5 1AP

As a mindful shop and cafe we think about where our food comes from, how we can improve and contribute to our local community by supporting other local businesses, and providing space for people to come together.

We are part of  Pulp Friction CIC, employing the skills of people with learning disabilities and autism.

We will soon be opening our doors for the members of Pulp Friction with learning disabilities to work in the kitchen, shop and cafe.  Making food and serving customers.

Here's a few of our team working at our headquaters at Nottingham Fire & Rescue:

We are currently gearing up to become a community hub now that restrictions are being eased.  We will have both volunteers and paid staff on site. You can find out more about volunteering and applying here.

Our Space

Our shop and cafe is small but welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

The emphasis of Deli Llama is to seek out small and local businesses, stocking produce in the shop and cooking with it in the kitchen.   We love art, crafts and skilled people doing what they do best.  You can contact us if you're a local business that would like to be stocked in our shop.

Community Co-operative

We believe the best way forward is by working together, in the kitchen, in the shop and in the wider community.

We care about the environment and do what we can to lower our impact on the world.

With all of this in mind we decided that we need to operate as a co-operative.  An organisation that is run by the people for the people.  We are currently in the process of registering as a co-operative business, and we will opening membership to staff, volunteers, customers, suppliers and Pulp Friction members.

There's so much going on at Deli Llama and things are constantly changing and growing.

We'd love to for you to be a part of it too!  Come and visit us for a coffee, run a workshop, buy local art and food, volunteer, join the co-operative!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Deli Llama Team.
